Hello, my name is Leighton I started my Java sparrow hobby October 2005, after having a few zebra finches which were fun to watch and listen to but were a little too busy for me and a little on the small side.
The first Javas I had were a pair of fawns, then I met Bryan Roberts who breeds Javas and is the secretary of the Java sparrow society club and lives just a five minute run in the car. Bryan has most of the mutations around so I had plenty to pick from and he also had some good advice for me.
I was hooked and know i have a nice little variety of my own. In the short time I have had my Javas I found that spending time to sit and watch the habits - feeding, breeding , fighting and playing is the best way to learn about your Javas.
I am just a Java lover,i still want to learn more about the Java as I am no expert, so any advice or tips please let me know of them and I might be able to pass it on to someone else and use it myself.
