Dear Elsie:: Thank you for the report- we got the animal and it is safe.
Rhiannon LaDuke: We have 1 female cat that's in heat and 7male cats. we'd like it if you could help us spay her before she gets pregnant. 679-2698
Lindsay: Hello Karen it was great seeing you just an update Blue, charlie, lexy, cheech and frock were all adopted before the weekend ended.   Everybody else is in foster homes awaiting new moms and dads.   Thanks again for letting us be there.   Dylan as also adopted and has recieved a full recovery status!!   If you ever have any pups that are serious condition please feel free to shoot me an email.
Jerry Johnson: 11/17 - We adopted a stray black female cat about a year ago. We wanted to have a mouser, and we unfortunately didn’t get her spayed in time, and now she has had 7 offspring. 2 born in May and 5 more born 9/15. My wife lost her job recently, and we will run out of money to feed all these cats. As far as we can tell, 6 of the offspring are female. 1 of the last 5 is male. The last 5 are 4 black and one grey. We would like to adopt out as many as these cats as we can. The oldest 3 have had their first set of shots. None have been spayed or neutered. Please contact me at tiggjj@yahoo.com if you can help in any way. Thank you!
Dear Lori:: It sounds like your pup has mange or fleas, which are both treatable.   We need you to contact us at 218-268-4477 so we can find out where you are located.   Sincerely, Karen
To Nancy, Aunt Ems: Thank you for support of RLRR.   We appreciate it.   Karen Good
Nancy Locken: Dear Kathleen,   I just discovered your Red Lake Rosie's Rescue through a story e-mailed to me about "Ode".   What a beautiful, and now happy looking little girl!   Thank you for the work you do.   I own a children's bookstore in Minneapolis called Auntie Em's.   I'm putting a picture of "Ode" up on our buletin board, along with information about your organization. I also plan accept donations for items you need and either send them up to you or drive them up.   I was so touched by the story of "Ode" and your rescue organization--I felt I had to do something to help.   I hope your reward leads to the apprehension of the sick people or person who did this to "Ode".   If you don't mind, I'm going to include you on our website.   Please visit it if you get a chance at www.auntieemsbookstore.com.   Keep up the good work and God Bless you!
Kathleen Preece: I just discovered Red Lake Rosie's Rescue. I am really pleased to know you exist. I found your brochure at a local pet shop in Bemidji. I currently have a dog i rescued from the ditch on the Leech Lake Reservation. I am watching 'dtiches' for another dog to join my Kassie. I have a gentle environment; I am a writer and work at home. Dog Kassie is also of gentle nature. We feel we might offer a home for an abused/abandoned dog whether permanently or as a foster. I look forward to being in touch.
Rosaline: I have only known Karen for a short time, but she is a remarkable woman.   The work she has done and continues to do for the animals and people around her is amazing.   Karen, you are my hero.
shirley: thank you to karen and crew for helping me keep my pets healthy .
Karen: The success that Red Lake Rosie's rescue has had is due to a great network of people and groups who have made clinics and rehoming of our wonderful Red Lake animals possible.   We also need to mention the Metro Support Committee who does fundraising, transporting, and volunteering for the animals.   We must mention the generous support of many groups including the Lawson Family Fund who has been very generous to our Tribe and the animals.   Lastly, the support of the tribe and the community who has participated in our programs to make a better life for all of us.   Hats off to all!
