Do you have what it takes to draw, paint or design a picture that really brings your favourite story to life?
Piczo has partnered with top publisher Penguin and six of the coolest bands and musicians to let you do just that. This is your chance to design a cover for such classics as Alice in Wonderland, Dracula, Animal Farm, and others.
Penguin asked a whole lot of famous musicians what their favourite books are, and then set them to work designing covers for each of their faves.
Mr Hudson & The Library chose Animal Farm by George Orwell
Beck chose Le Grand Meaulnes by Alain Fournier
Razorlight’s favourite was The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Dragonette agreed that Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll was their favourite
Goldspot designed the cover for Steppenwolf by Hermann Hesse
Ryan Adams likes to dip into Dracula by Bram Stoker
If you’d like to know more about the musician’s favourite books, or what inspired their artwork, then here’s your chance–-just leave your comments in the shoutbox below stating clearly who your question is for, and we’ll send on your questions to the musicians themselves. Each musician will pick their favourite questions, and you can check back here for their answers in a couple of weeks’ time.
